Annual UA Local 179 Reid Lichtenwald Memorial Snowmobile Derby

The Annual UA Local 179 Reid Lichtenwald Memorial Snowmobile Derby was held on March 7, 2015 in Waskesiu. Everyone met at 10 a.m. for breakfast and registration at the elk Ridge Resort before hitting the trails. Twelve riders then proceeded to sled 80 kms of trails from Waskesiu to Christopher Lake and back calling it quits around 6 p.m. The trails were fantastic and the weather was awesome. UA Local 179 would like to thank Elk Ridge Resort for their beautiful accommodations and their hospitality.

If you hear family, friends, neighbors', etc mentioning they are or someone they know is having issues with EI, you can tell them that there is an outfit, the UWHC, which is supported by your union that gives help to any worker having trouble with their EI claim.
