OBITUARY

Gregory Dean Henderson

OCTOBER 27, 1954 – FEBRUARY 24, 2024
Obituary of Gregory Dean Henderson
It is with heavy hearts the family of Gregory Dean Henderson announce his passing at the age of 69 on Saturday February 24, 2024 at Royal University Hospital with family by his side.

Greg was predeceased by his wife, Jeri Lynn Henderson; father, Delmond (Dub) Henderson; mother-in-law, Joyce Wikberg and father-in-law, Chester Wikberg; brother-in-law, Terry Wikberg and his wife, Claudette; nephew, Trevor Wikberg, and many loyal, furry friends.

Greg will be lovingly remembered by his children, Rory (Stacy) Henderson and Jillian (Tyler) Struik; grandchildren, Ariana and Zachary Henderson; mother, Gwen Henderson; sister, Patti (Doug) Mitchell; sister-in-law, Trudy (Lauren) Shmyr; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Greg was a social person and was always happy to catch up with friends new and old; he was a storyteller and always had a joke to share. Greg took pride in the family cabin that he and Jeri Lynn built at Candle Lake; he enjoyed spending time there year-round with his family around the fire, as well as golfing, snowmobiling and frequenting garage sales at any opportunity.

Honouring Greg’s request, there will be no service. A private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue of your choice, Canadian Cancer Society or ALS Society of Saskatchewan in Greg’s memory.
