Passing of UA Member Bruce Lieffers

October 27, 2023

Bruce Francis Lieffers

Obituary of Bruce Francis Lieffers

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce at 57 years old. He will be dearly remembered by his parents Don and Evelyn Lieffers, his sister Lynn Parchomchuk (Ron), his brother Jeff, his daughter Emma Foss and granddaughter Parker, his two nephews Joel and Evan Parchomchuk, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce was born in Saskatoon and attended Bishop Klein elementary school and then E.D. Feehan High School. During these years he participated in many sports: track and field, baseball, football and basketball. Summers were spent at the family cabin at Memorial Lake. Here he learned to swim, golf, waterski, and fish. Evenings at the lake were spent around the fire with family and friends, visiting, playing games and roasting marshmallows. After high school Bruce worked at Mercury Graphics until it closed. He then went back to school and trained to be a pipe fitter. He eventually moved back to Shell Lake to be close to family and friends and continue golfing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. As per his wishes, there will be no memorial service. Arrangements entrusted to Ashley Knash.
