Passing of UA Local 179 Member Bob Duzan

It is with sadness that he have learned of the passing of UA Local 179 lifetime member Bob Duzan. Bob’s obituary is included below.

 

BOB DUZAN
July 8, 1935 - August 4, 2013

Bob Duzan, aged 78 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Sunday, August 4th, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents, Katy and Earl Duzan of Ormiston, SK. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Joan; children: Kimi, Marshall (Donna) and Kirby (Rosemarie); and his 7 cherished grandchildren. Bob was employed as a journeyman sheet metal worker for more than 40 years. Bob’s legacy will be the many metal art pieces that he designed and crafted, which he shared with many friends and family. We thank Dr. Brown and Dr. Rininsland, as well as the caregivers at Pioneers Lodge and the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. The Memorial Service was held on Thursday, August 8th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Drive, Moose Jaw with Rev. John Kreutzwieser officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Bob’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61 Ross St W, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Calvin Gammel, Funeral Director. 306-693-4550
