It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of UA Local 179 member Franz Kadner. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Franz moved to Canada from Austria in 1954 and worked his career as a pipefitter. Franz was a member of UA Local 179 for nearly 60 years. This picture is of Franz receiving his 55 year pin award as a member of the local at our most recent pin awards in September 2012 from Business Manager Troy Knipple and Business Agent Bill Peters.
