Passing of James Harrison UA Local 179

October 19, 2010

JAMES HARRISON After a courageous battle with mesothelioma, James Harrison peacefully passed away at Saint Paul's Hospital on Tuesday October 19, 2010 at 59 years of age. Jim was born in Ethelbert, Manitoba on December 21, 1950 to Bill and Jean Harrison. He grew up and received his education in Manitoba, eventually moving to Saskatoon to raise a family and pursue a career as a plumber/pipefitter. Jim is survived by his wife Adeline; his sons Ryan (Sarah) and Dustin; his brother Mervin (Audrey) Harrison; his sisters Shirley (Matt) Herman, Gladys (Doug) Ning, Darlene (Dodie) Simonite, and Bonnie (Gerald) Haygarth; and his brotherin-law Ed Lesaichuk. Jim was predeceased by his parents William Paul Harrison and Jean (Doskoch) Harrison; and by his sister Florence Lesaichuk. The Funeral Service for Jim will be held on Saturday October 23, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. from Acadia-McKague's Funeral Centre (915 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon). Interment will take place in Ethelbert, Manitoba at a later date. In Jim's memory donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation (PO Box 309, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3L3). Arrangements are in care of Tammy Ferrier Acadia-McKague's Funeral Centre 955-1600.
